A LUZ SEMPRE DOMINA AS TREVAS

            A assinatura de um jornal, um fato originalmente pequeno e sem importância, mudou completamente a vida de um rapaz pobre, transformando-o num grande empresário e vice-presidente da República.

           

            E assim acontece todo o dia, a todos os instantes. Pequenos fenômenos, naturais ou não, ocorrem e nós, absortos e fechados à compreensão, com os nossos problemas, nossos estresses, não damos importância nem imaginamos quão grandes transformações poderão causar.

           

            Por volta de 1963, o matemático Edward Lorenz demonstrou que o acaso é um fenômeno matemático que aproxima-se dos resultados observados na natureza. A diferença é que a matemática utiliza constantes e a natureza não. Mas foi crucial para isso, que a matemática buscasse imitar a natureza, percorrendo os caminhos mais simples das probabilidades existentes. O estudo dos sistemas não-lineares, partindo-se do pressuposto que a formação de uma nuvem pode ser desencadeada por diversos fatores como o calor, o frio, a evaporação, o clima, condições do sol, os ventos sobre a superfície e inúmeros outros, foi fundamental para sustentar a teoria.

Essa idéia de que uma pequena variação nas condições, em determinado ponto de um sistema dinâmico pode ter conseqüências inimagináveis, levou Lorenz a demonstrá-lo matematicamente através de uma formula simples cujos resultados foram surpreendentes. Chamou-se este resultado matemático de Efeito Borboleta, por causa do formato parecido com as asas de uma borboleta.

            Daí criou-se o pressuposto que: “O bater das assas de uma borboleta em Tókio pode provocar um furacão em New York”.

            Esta teoria, denominada de Teoria do Caos, já trouxe grande benefícios à humanidade nas áreas da medicina, economia, administração, matemática, estatística e muita outras.

            A improbabilidade passou a ser estudada em profundidade e foi demonstrada por devesas hecatombes universais ou mesmo atos de terrorismo inadmissíveis como a derrubada das Torres Gêmeas em NY.

            O insignificante Osama Bin Laden, que nada representa ante o poderio bélico americano, antes de morrer disse que causaria a destruição dos americanos pelo medo. E verdadeiramente estamos vivendo esta fobia quando entramos nos Estados Unidos. O sistema de segurança, na imigração, demonstra a incerteza, o medo e a insegurança, vivido naquele País. O fato de entrar com mais de US$ 10.000,00 leva o turista a passar por um sistema de tortura psicológica que chaga aos limites da insanidade.

            Mas o que temos observado é que os poderes públicos não têm normalmente se utilizado dessas teorias dinâmicas para planejarem suas ações. O se o fazem, não dispõe de técnicos, com conhecimento, capazes de analisaram o cenário, a fim de determinar as ações a serem tomadas. Não que essas ações venha impedir a improbabilidade, mas com certeza podem preparar o mundo para efeitos inesperados, resultados de fatores pequenos mais determinantes.

            O século XXI , nos presenteou com o provável início de uma nova era que se configura com o domínio da velocidade na comunicação. Isto transforma o mundo em um elemento pontualmente plano, pois a qualquer momento esta velocidade transforma e dá novas formas a economia, a política e aos poderes. Esta nova dinâmica, ainda longe de ser compreendida e controlada pelos gestores, coloca em risco a estabilidade e o equilíbrio universal e se faz preciso que novos modelos e métodos de administração da crise ou da complexidade criem parâmetros, que possam ajudar a compreendê-la e criar mecanismos e ações, que resultem em soluções capazes de se enxergar um futuro bem mais promissor nos tempos de crise; que use-se todo esse poderio de conhecimento para gerar frutos do bem.

            O mundo está ai, caminhando como Deus quer, mas com os homens atrapalhando bastante. Não sabemos como tudo isso vai acabar e certamente não será para a nossa geração.

           

            Com certeza não seremos lembrados por este benefício. Mas podemos lutar e buscar compreender melhor como o vento transforma e da formas, como a água rompe barreiras e segue sempre em frente, como o fogo purifica e como a terra, fecunda, faz crescer a semente.

           

            O tempo é o senhor das transformações!

            The signing of a newspaper, a fact originally small and unimportant, completely changed the life of a poor boy, turning him into a great manager and vice president.

He called this mathematical result of Butterfly Effect, because of the format like the wings of a butterfly.

            It created the assumption that: "The beating of the wings of a butterfly in Tokyo can cause a hurricane in New York."

            This theory, called the chaos theory, has brought great benefits to humanity in the fields of medicine, economics, management, mathematics, statistics and much more.

            The improbability started to be studied in depth and was demonstrated by Devesas universal catastrophes or acts of terrorism inadmissible as the overthrow of the Twin Towers in New York.

This new dynamic, far from being understood and controlled by managers, endangers the stability and balance of universal and does need new models and methods of crisis management or create complex parameters, which may help to understand and create mechanisms and actions that result in solutions able to see a much more promising future in times of crisis, they use up all this power of knowledge to bear fruit well.

            The world is there, walking as God wants, but with men very disturbing. We do not know how all this will end and certainly not for our generation.

          

            Surely we will not be remembered for this benefit. But we can fight and try to understand better how the wind turns and forms, such as water breaks barriers and goes straight ahead, as fire purifies and how the land fertile, the seed grows.

           

            Time is the lord of transformations!
